Following the recent earthquake, we understand that delegates may have questions regarding travel, safety, and logistics. We would like to reassure all participants that Caracas is fully operational and preparing to welcome VIOGS 2026 attendees safely.

All official VIOGS venues — including the summit location and recommended hotels — have been inspected and certified as safe and fully operational for the event. Key infrastructure, transport services, and hospitality facilities are functioning, and the city continues to operate normally as it prepares to host international visitors.

Commercial flight operations to Caracas are expected to resume fully ahead of the summit, with alternative entry points such as Valencia currently supporting international arrivals. Delegates are advised to check with their airlines for the latest travel updates and routing options.
