 UCC Holding is a Qatari international energy, mining, concessions and construction group, part of Power International Holding. ENR ranks UCC 41st International Contractor and 10th in Power, and Forbes Middle East ranks it the region's leading construction company. With over 1,250 projects delivered, 21 energy projects and a 32,000 workforce, UCC is building an international upstream portfolio: an EPSA for Area 47 in Libya's Ghadames Basin, offshore exploration in Syria with Chevron, and now Venezuela, where UCC Oil and Gas Holding holds an interest with bp, and XRG in the Loran Phase 2 gas license.
