Plenary Session 3: Venezuela's Natural Gas Opportunity: From Resource to Regional Energy Hub

With one of the largest natural gas resource bases in Latin America, Venezuela has a unique opportunity to strengthen domestic energy security, accelerate economic growth and emerge as a key regional gas supplier. As reforms, investment and strategic partnerships gather momentum, this plenary will explore how Venezuela can commercialise its gas resources through domestic industrial development, gas-to-power, LNG exports and regional pipeline integration, while examining the infrastructure, fiscal and regulatory reforms, investment frameworks and cross-border partnerships required to position the country as a competitive and reliable supplier in regional and global energy markets.
