As Venezuela enters a new era for its hydrocarbons sector, the conversation has shifted from policy reform to commercial execution. With the new Hydrocarbons Law in place and a new generation of Joint Ventures (JVs), Production Participation Contracts (CPPs) and investment agreements now being signed, attention is turning to how projects are being structured, financed and delivered in practice. This session brings together government, operators, investors and legal experts to examine what has changed, the deal structures emerging under the new framework, how commercial and regulatory risks are being managed, and what is still required to unlock large-scale investment and accelerate Venezuela's oil and gas recovery.
