Ramon Candia

Ramon Candia is an investment banking professional with over 25 years of experience, a deep understanding of Latin American markets, and a proven track record in executing complex transactions. In recent years, he has focused on delivering capital solutions to projects and corporates across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Ramon was an investor in Valora Holdings S.A., a shareholder of CIFI S.A., where he served as Chief Investment Officer. During his tenure, CIFI reached its strongest financial performance to date, doubled its assets under management, and strengthened its reputation across multiple business lines.

After successfully exiting Valora and concluding his role at CIFI, Ramon founded Taunus Capital S.A. in May 2025, reaffirming his commitment to innovative investment and financing in the region.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, with an intermediate command of Portuguese.
