As Chairman of the Board for LINDSAYCA/LND Guyana since 2023, he spearheaded the negotiation of an $859M Gas to Energy Project and secured two major power projects in the Dominican Republic valued at $1B in 2024. Simultaneously serving as Board Director and Senior Vice President of Business Development at LINDSAYCA USA since 2011, Nelson has driven business development initiatives resulting in over $500M in annual revenue and forged more than $2.6B in awarded EPC contracts. Under his leadership, the company expanded into emerging markets in the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia, growing from zero to $500M+ in revenue with a consistent 15% net profit margin. His oversight includes directing multiple business units—ranging from finance and engineering to procurement and compliance—while managing a diverse team of over 2000 employees.

Earlier in his career, Nelson served as director and Chief Operations Officer at Gazprom in Venezuela from 2007 to 2011, where he generated over $800M in annual revenue and expanded market share to 32% within three years. His leadership in joint ventures between Gazprom and PDVSA grew revenues from zero to $600M+ with 13% net profit. Prior to that, partnered with the actor Kevin Costner he serves as President and Country Manager for Venezuela at Costner Industries International, Nelson co-founded and built the company to $10M+ in annual revenue, achieving a 30% growth rate per year before successfully positioning the firm for acquisition by Gazprom.
