William Antonio

William Antonio is a global energy executive with more than 23 years of international experience across general management, strategy, business development, marketing and sales, technology, operations, project management, and human resources. 

He currently serves as Managing Director of SLB for Mexico, Central America and Venezuela, with responsibility for the company's overall business and financial performance across the region. His role combines P&L leadership, business growth, customer engagement, government and institutional relations, and representation of SLB across the broader energy industry. 

Previously, William served as Global Business Line Director for Well Intervention, leading the operations in more than 85 countries. He developed and executed the global strategy for the business, accelerated digital and technology adoption, optimized operating models, and strengthened the portfolio through the acquisition of three specialized companies. 

His international career has included assignments across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, including France, Indonesia, Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, and Mexico. He has also participated in the leadership and governance of startup companies in China, Australia, and the United Kingdom and served as a member of Boards of Trustees of non-profit organizations in France and Mexico. 

His leadership style combines strategic thinking, operational discipline, collaboration, and a strong focus on execution and integrity. 

He holds a Master of Science in Oil & Gas Industry Management from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar. He has also completed executive education in Digital Business Excellence at UC Berkeley and Digital Strategies for Business at Columbia Business School. 

William is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French.
