Juan Carlos Andrade is President of Araya Energy Group and Partner at LEC Abogados, specializing in energy and natural resources. His practice focuses on oil and gas projects, structured finance, M&A, and business development. He previously served as Partner at Baker McKenzie and as Director of Shell Venezuela and Vice President of Legal and Government Relations. He has extensive experience advising international companies and negotiating complex energy projects in Venezuela. Andrade is also a Professor of Hydrocarbon Law at Universidad Monteávila and IESA and has served as Director and Legal Advisor of the Venezuelan Petroleum Chamber for several years.
